Kodàly’s Dances of Galànta are based on the folk music of Galànta, a town that was part of Hungary, then part of Czechoslovakia, now part of Slovakia, but always with its tradition of lively music.

Adam Dobres, the Victoria guitarist, needs no introduction in Sooke. The premiere of this new work, Freda’s Journey Suite is something to look forward to.
