The Orchestra

The Sooke Philharmonic is a community orchestra of more than 60 members. It was founded by Norman Nelson in 1997 and performed its first symphony concert in June 1998. The regular concert season consists of 5 performances plus the ever-popular “Philharmonic Fling!”, a free, open air, pops concert performed each summer.
